Crochet Kit: Make a Christmas Tree Mat
What tree wouldn’t look better with a gorgeous hand crocheted mat under it? This project is suitable for all levels (except complete beginners). You will need to be able to create foundation chains and treble stitch.
You will learn increasing and decreasing techniques and how to join the different coloured yarns for each row. The increasing and decreasing techniques will create a beautiful star shape.
The yarn for this project is Scheepjes Chunky Monkey Yarn. Soft and bouncy, it is a pleasure to work with. The kit contains one ball of each of red, green and white or cream and fully illustrated instructions. If you need a crochet hook, that can be included for £2.50 extra.
