Beginners quilting: make a tablemat/sewing machine mat
Learn your basic quilting skills during this three hour workshop. you will learn how to assemble your placemats and learn two basic styles of quilting: linear and crosshatch. You will make two coasters to decide which style you want to use for your placemats. As well as learning basic quilting skills, you will also learn how to apply bias binding around the edges.
The class fee covers the materials for the two coasters, but materials will be required for the placemats. Materials will be available for purchase on the day or you are welcome to bring your own.
